My philosophy is that your work should be your passion. I found my passion for real estate through a somewhat circuitous route. Born and raised in Monterey County, California, I attended Boston College and received a degree in Psychology. After college, knowing that the west was where I wanted to be, I attended UC Berkeley School of Law and earned my J.D. Although I loved the mental challenges of law school and the ability to help clients while practicing law, I learned that litigation and being a lawyer was just not my cup of tea. On a year-long hiatus from law, I opened a successful home staging business, and something clicked - viewing different homes and preparing them to look their best to go on the market just felt right to me. But I was not there yet - while staging was fulfilling, I wanted more: more interaction with the client and more opportunity to be involved in the home selling and buying process from start to finish.
I gave the legal world one more chance, and found that the best cases I had involved real estate matters. When I considered this fact, along with the fact that I could often be found scouring the open homes around Boulder County on my Sundays, the light bulb finally went on, and I realized that being a real estate agent would perfectly blend my legal skills with my staging experience and passions for homes and client service.
So what do you get when you blend a home stager with a lawyer? You get a full-service professional dedicated to the details of your transaction: you get me.
When I'm not visiting open houses or reading up on the latest Supreme Court decisions, I can be found hiking in the mountains, running, swimming, and enjoying the many, many things Boulder County and Colorado have to offer. Every day I discover something new here, and I love being able to call this area my home. I am also a member of the Colorado Mountain Club, and am a Planning Commissioner for the City of Louisville.
