When not at work or involved with his family, you will often find Gail sitting not on a chair, but on either his road bike or mountain bike. Gail is an avid bicyclist who has completed 9 ´Ride the RockiesĄ bike tours and countless trips to Moab, Utah, and its challenging mountain bike terrain. He is a cofounder of the Buffalo Bicycle Classic, a fund raising event for the school of Arts & Sciences, CU-Boulder.
Gail received his real estate license in 1973 and has continued his education by receiving the GRI, CRS, ABR and Green Points Certified designations. He has been a committed member of the Boulder Area Board of Realtors, serving in many capacities including past president of the board, member of the nominating committee and award committee, guest speaker for educational programs and a member of the board˙s grievance committee for many years. He has also received the Realtor of the Year award in 2001, the Distinguished Realtor of the Year award, and the President˙s Service award. Gail also served as a director for the Colorado Association of Realtors.
Gail has been deeply involved with this community. He has served on numerous boards including Avista Hospital, Boulder Valley School Board Foundation, Boulder Chamber of Commerce, and the Chautauqua Board. He is currently serving on the Dean˙s Advisory Council for the school of Arts & Sciences at the University of Colorado-Boulder, and the Board of Trustees of Frasier Meadows Retirement Community. Gail has also been a member of the Boulder Rotary Club since 1983.
Gail and his wife, Julie, are very proud of their two children. Brian is a graduate of Colorado College and Sussex University in Brighton, England. He is currently working in London. Natalie graduated with a psychology degree from the University of Colorado and recently passed her Real Estate licensing exam. She is working at Mock Realty as a licensed assistant and in Public Relations. |
